The Sirius building in Sydney is slated for demolition.
I’ve walked and driven by this building a number of times and it does indeed stick out from every thing else in the The Rocks.

This is the result of the repeal of section 52 of the Copyright, Designs and Patent Act 1988, which previously exempted industrially manufactured pieces from the copyright protections afforded to artistic works.
Distinguishing between “industrially manufactured” vs. “individually crafted” for purposes of copyright…. very interesting…
